50% college teachers to attend their respective institutions from 21 Sept onwards: DHE Assam

September 3: Teachers ( 50% of teaching and non-teaching staff at a time) should attend their respective Institutions with effect from 21 September, 2020, for which subsequent instructions will be issued by the Education Department, Govt. of Assam based on the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which will be developed by the MoHFW (Govt. of India. This was stated in an order by Director of Higher Education (DHE), Assam on 2 September, 2020.

The same order further specified that, “In partial modification of the the earlier order…. it is hereby requested to all employees, both teaching and non-teaching staff of State Universities, Govt. and Provincialised Colleges of Assam to undergo COVID-19 test utpo 18th September’ 2020 as per protocol of District Administration Health and Family Welfare Department issued from time to time.”
