5 found Covid+ve in Karimganj & 4 in Hailakandi on Saturday

Feb. 5: On Saturday, Hailakandi registered 04 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether has 47 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 489 RAT tests and 19 RT-PCR tests were done. 20 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 9,259 (1st, 2nd & 3rd wave).

As of now, a total of 5,683 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 05 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 55 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 331 persons were vaccinated on Saturday.

Karimganj registered 05 fresh COVID case on Saturday. The district has currently 106 active COVID cases, while 04 patients were discharged on Saturday. 488 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 13 persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Friday.
