4 found Covid positive in Hailakandi, 1 in Karimganj on Monday

Oct. 11: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Monday, Hailakandi registered 04 new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether 07 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 416 RAT tests and 47 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,901 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,471 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that none was found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 827 persons were vaccinated on Sunday.

Karimganj registered 01 fresh COVID cases on Monday. The district has currently 07 active COVID cases, while no patients has been discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Monday. 578 swab samples were collected during the day.
