397 patients discharged in Assam on Wednesday

July 8: On Wednesday, 397 more patients were discharged from across Assam. With this, a total of 8726 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state till now. 13,336 patients were affected by coronavirus in Assam, out of which, there are 4585 active cases. On Wednesday, Assam also recorded 6 new deaths due to COVID-19. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “397 more patients have been discharged. Amid rising number of #COVID cases, it’s heartening that we’ve managed a good recovery rate.”
