Covid vaccination drive at 7 centres in Silchar on 2, 3 & 5 July

July 1: Cachar District administration has announced a three-day schedule for Covid-19 vaccination programme in Silchar town which will commence from Friday.

Covaxin will be given at three places in Silchar on 2, 3 & 5 July, 2021. These centers are:

• Nazirpatti Model Primary School,
• Urban PHC at Trunk Road
• Durgasankar Pathshala in Ambicapatty.

Covaxin will be administered to 247 beneficiaries (18 years and above) in each of these 3 vaccination centres in Silchar on 2, 3 & 5 July. Further, 03 persons in each of these 3 centres (3×3=09) will be given the jab on the basis of on spot registration.

At the same time, on 2, 3 & 5 July, Covishield vaccine for all citizens above 18 years of age will be given through on the spot registration at four centers in Silchar. These centres are:

• B.C Roy Memorial School, Rangpur
• Radharaman Goswami High School, Malugram
• T.T College, Link road
• Haji Keramatullah Pathshala, Water Works Road, Silchar.

Covishield will be administered to 200 beneficiaries (18 years and above) in each of these 3 vaccination centres in Silchar on 2, 3 & 5 July. The vaccination centres will remain closed on Sunday.
