3 misleading facts about Covid-19 that is causing confusion among people: WHO
March 19: Though the number of Covid-19 cases in India has gone down considerably, but globally there has been a surge in the new positive cases. It is in this backdrop that World Health Organisation (WHO), listed three misleading facts about the virus that is causing confusion among the people.
Maria Van Kerkhove of WHO listed the 3 misleading facts, which are:
- The misinformation that Omicron variant is mild.
- The misinformation that the pandemic is over.
- The misinformation that this is the last variant that we will have to deal with.
