3 found Covid +ve in Cachar on 28 November
Active cases 27 in Cachar, 1 discharged
Nov. 28: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Sunday at 11.10 PM. As per the latest data, 03 persons were found positive in the district on 28 November. Also, 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has reached 27. It needs mention here that on Saturday, 02 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar.
As per the updated data, a total of 233 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, no person was found positive, whereas 01 was detected positive out of 27 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of Covid cases since 1 April, 2021 reached 20,404 whereas during this phase, 20,161 patients were discharged.
The Covid-19 situation in Cachar is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 27 November to 5 PM on 28 November) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Sunday evening.
Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 28 November, there were 08 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, no patient was put under ventilator support, and 01 was in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, no Covid positive patient was admitted at SMCH and also none of them were discharged.
