26 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Thursday, 133 active cases in the district

July 21: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Thursday. As per the latest data, 26 persons (06 RT-PCR & 20 RAT) were found positive in the district on 21 July, 2022. At present, 131 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation & 02 have taken admission in hospitals. Further, 21 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 133 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 20 persons were found positive, whereas 06 were detected positive out of 22 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 133. It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 40 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar district.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 259 positive cases were detected and 125 were discharged in the district of Cachar. None has died during this phase.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
