2 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Tuesday, 2 discharged

Aug 10: Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Of the 02 positive cases detected on Tuesday, all of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 53 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,043 RAT tests and 111 RT-PCR tests were done. 02 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,836 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,360 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 3 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Monday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 3,843 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
