2 more tests positive in Shillong, total goes up to 9
April 16: Two more cases of COVID-19 were reported from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Both of them are family members of the 1st corononavirus patient in the state who died on 15 April. The 69 years old deceased was a doctor and the owner of Bethany Hospital of Shillong. Following which, six of his family members and helpers tested negative.
2 more cases have tested positive. Both are family members of the first patient.

With this, 2 new cases on Thursday, the total number of coronavirus cases in Meghalaya has reached nine, out of which 1 died and 8 are undergoing treatment. Chief Minister of Meghalaya, informed in his twitter as regards the two new cases.
