2 lifts & 1 monumental flag to be inaugurated at Silchar Railway Station on 23 Feb

Feb. 22: It’s indeed another new feather in the cap of Silchar Railway Station. Construction work of two lifts and one Monumental flag at Silchar Railway Station has been completed and ready for public use. The same would be dedicated to the nation at 3 PM on 23 February, 2021. It is in this connection that J.S. Lakra, Divisional Railway Manager of Lumding Division has invited Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy to inaugurate the lifts and momumental flag on Tuesday.

In the said letter addressed to Dr. Rajdeep Roy, the Divisional Railway Manager wrote, “It is our great privilege to request you to kindly grace the occasion and dedicate these assets to Nation. N. F. Railway also acknowledges with gratitude the immense support extended from your good office for development and train operations in the Barak Valley region and state of Assam.”
