2 in oxygen support out of 8 active cases at SMCH on Friday

Feb. 4: There has been a gradual decrease in the number of daily positive cases in Cachar district. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 3 February to 5 PM on 4 February) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Friday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 4 February, there were 08 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, no patients were put under ventilator support, but 02 were in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, no Covid positive patient was admitted at SMCH but 02 were discharged. A total of 02 patients were detected positive in RAT at SMCH and 04 in RTPCR on Friday.
