1st Flybig aircraft takes off from Silchar Airport with 64 passengers on Thursday evening
May 19: ‘FlyBig’ aircraft with 64 passengers left from Silchar to Guwahati at 6.20 pm today. Guardian Minister Ashok Singhal was present to bid adieu to the 1st batch of air passengers.
In a welcome note for the travelers, Assam Government on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ‘Flybig Airlines’. As per the MoU, the Airline will operate between Guwahati and Silchar with a fixed airfare of Rs 3000 for 10 days from Friday.

Tickets will be available at special counter at DC Office, Cachar and ATDC’s head office at Paltan Bazar, Guwahati. Tickets can be booked through calling at mobile number- 8135902973 and 8638023921. Payment can be made through UPI/Google pay on 8135902973. This flight service will be available from 19 May, 2022 for 10 days. The flight from Guwahati to Silchar will take off at 5 PM, whereas, it will fly for Guwahati from Silchar at 6.20 PM.
