1st batch of 124 Kota students quarantined at Sarusajai stadium discharged on Tuesday
May 5: With the initiative of the Government of Assam, 390 plus students of Assam who were studying in Kota came back to the state. The boys were quarantined at Sarusajai stadium and the girls were kept under quarantine in hotels of Guwahati. On Tuesday, the 1st batch of 124 Kota students quarantined at Sarusajai stadium has been released after being tested negative for coronavirus.
State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the quarantine site along with officials to monitor their release process. The minister expressed his delight at the discharge of the students and offered best wishes to them.
