1817 patients discharged in Assam on Tuesday
Sept. 22: On Tuesday, 1817 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,30,947 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care Centres in the state. At present, there are 29,857 active cases in Assam. In a tweet, State health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “1817 patients discharged today Eat healthy and take proper rest to boost immunity.”
On Tuesday, a total of 29,647 tests were done in the state, out of which, 2,073 were detected as positive. With this, the state tally of novel coronavirus has now gone upto 1,59,320. Further, during the day, another 08 persons died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 586.
