1792 tests +ve in Assam on Friday including 105 in Cachar

Sept. 25: On Friday, 1792 persons tested positive in Assam. During the day, 28, 245 tests were done in the state. With this, a total of 1,67,374 persons were infected with novel coronavirus as of now. At present, there are 31,605 active cases in the state. Further, Cachar district also registered 105 new cases of COVID-19. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 1792 #COVID cases detected today out of 28245 tests. Positivity Rate- 6.34% Kamrup M- 387; Jorhat- 169; Dibrugarh- 121; Cachar- 105.”
Further, during the day, 17 more patients of COVID-19 succumbed to the infection, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 625.
