1,547 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 25 deaths registered

July 21: On Wednesday, out of 74,114 tests, 1,547 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,52,425. The positivity rate in the state is 2.09 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 193 positive cases during the day. Further, on Wednesday, 25 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,054. The recovery rate is 96.06 percent.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, 1,798 persons tested positive in Assam and 10 deaths were registered.
