1487 patients discharged in Assam on Tuesday

August 11: On Tuesday, 1487 patients were discharged from various hospitals in Assam. With this, a total of 45,973 patients were discharged in the state as of now. “1487 patients discharged today. All credit goes to doctors, nurses & health workers for their stupendous job. Kudos,” tweeted State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

On Tuesday, 2669 tested COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, 64,406 persons were infected in Assam as of now, out of which, 20,622 are active cases. Further, during the day, 4 more persons died in the state due to coronavirus, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 155.
