12 MBA Students Secure Jobs Through Campus Interview

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি : পেশাগত জীবনের সূচনায় বড় সাফল্য অর্জন করলেন আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগের ১২ জন এমবিএ পড়ুয়া। দেশের অন্যতম শীর্ষ টিএমটি বার প্রস্তুতকারক সংস্থা শ্যাম স্টিল ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজে তাঁরা ক্যাম্পাস ইন্টারভিউয়ের মাধ্যমে চাকরির সুযোগ পেয়েছেন। বুধবার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণে আয়োজিত বাছাই প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে তাঁদের নির্বাচন করা হয়। নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়ায় সংস্থার তিন সদস্যের একটি প্রতিনিধি দল উপস্থিত ছিল।

বহুস্তরীয় এই বাছাই প্রক্রিয়ায় লিখিত দক্ষতা যাচাই, দলগত আলোচনা এবং ব্যক্তিগত সাক্ষাৎকারের মাধ্যমে প্রার্থীদের মূল্যায়ন করা হয়। শেষ পর্যন্ত ১২ জন এমবিএ শিক্ষার্থীকে সংস্থার বিভিন্ন দায়িত্বপূর্ণ পদে নিয়োগ করা হয়। এদিন সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জেনারেল ম্যানেজার সায়ন ঘোষ, রিজিওনাল ম্যানেজার হিমনিশ বরাহ ও এরিয়া ম্যানেজার দীপঙ্কর বৈদ্য।

নির্বাচিত শিক্ষার্থীরা হলেন রোজি দেব, ভাগ্যশ্রী দাস, রাজজ্যোতি দেব, সায়ন রায়, স্নেহা রানি দাস, কুমারজিত রায়, রোহন দেব, সংঘমিত্রা দাস, শ্রেয়েতা দত্ত, ভাবোসে গুরুং, অমন কুমার দে এবং রোনাক দাস। এই ক্যাম্পাস নিয়োগ কার্যক্রমে নেতৃত্ব দেন বিভাগের প্রধান ও ক্যারিয়ার কাউন্সেলিং অ্যান্ড প্লেসমেন্ট সেলের ডিরেক্টর অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ। তাঁকে সহযোগিতা করেন নিয়োগ পরামর্শদাতা রশ্মি দাস এবং সমন্বয়কারী সৌরভ বণিক।

এদিকে উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ নির্বাচিত শিক্ষার্থীদের আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে বলেন, পড়ুয়াদের এই সাফল্য সমগ্র বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবারের কাছেই গৌরবের বিষয়। আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীরা যে জাতীয় পর্যায়ের শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানে নিজেদের যোগ্যতার প্রমাণ দিচ্ছে, তা অত্যন্ত আনন্দের। ভবিষ্যতেও শিল্প ও শিক্ষার মধ্যে সুদৃঢ় সেতুবন্ধন গড়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ আরও বিস্তৃত হবে বলে আশা ব্যক্ত করেন তিনি।

Way2barak, February 19 : In a significant achievement at the very beginning of their professional careers, 12 MBA students from the Department of Business Administration at Assam University have secured placements through a campus interview drive. They have been recruited by Shyam Steel Industries, one of the country’s leading TMT bar manufacturers.

The selection process was conducted on the university campus on Wednesday in the presence of a three-member delegation from the company. The multi-stage recruitment process included a written aptitude test, group discussion, and personal interview to assess the candidates comprehensively. Following the evaluation, 12 MBA students were selected for various responsible positions within the company. The company’s delegation comprised General Manager Sayan Ghosh, Regional Manager Himonish Barah, and Area Manager Dipankar Baidya.

The selected students are Rosy Deb, Bhagyashree Das, Rajjyoti Deb, Sayan Roy, Sneha Rani Das, Kumarjit Roy, Rohan Deb, Sanghamitra Das, Sreeyeta Dutta, Bhawose Gurung, Amon Kumar Dey, and Ronak Das. The campus recruitment drive was led by Prof. Debmalya Ghosh, Head of the Department and Director of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell। He was assisted by Placement Advisor Rashmi Das and Coordinator Sourav Banik.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajive Mohan Pant congratulated the selected students and described their achievement as a matter of pride for the entire university community. He expressed satisfaction that the students have proven their merit at a national-level industrial organization and hoped that stronger industry-academia collaboration in the future would further expand employment opportunities for students.
