112 new Covid-19 cases reported from Mizoram in last 24 hours

April 23: 112 more people were diagnosed as Covid-19 positive in the last 24 hours in Mizoram. Wit this, the active caseload on Saturday stands at 672. It needs mention here that on Friday, 103 persons were detected as Covid positive in Mizoram. The total count of positive cases in the state now stands at 2,26,702. For the third consecutive day on Saturday, none died in the state due to Covid-19. The death toll now stands at 694.

Apart from this, 54 people were discharged after being cured on Friday. 2, 25,336 people have recovered from the infection so far. The single-day positivity rate at 13 per cent against 8.97 per cent on the previous day
