11 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Saturday, 5 discharged

July 24: Hailakandi registered only 11 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Of the 11 positive cases detected on Saturday, 10 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 70 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,318 RAT tests and 171 RT-PCR tests were done. 05 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,749 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,255 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 11 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date 49 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.
