10 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Monday, 160 active cases in the district

July 25: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Monday. As per the latest data, 10 persons (0 RT-PCR & 10 RAT) were found positive in the district on 25 July, 2022. At present, 160 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation & 01 has taken admission in hospitals. Further, 43 persons were discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 76 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 10 persons were found positive, whereas no one was detected positive out of 06 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 1160. It needs mention here that on Sunday, 42 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar district.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 385 positive cases were detected and 224 were discharged in the district of Cachar. During this phase, 01 death was registered. The deceased, a resident of Silchar died at GNRC, Guwahati.

District Administration Cachar in a message stated, “Public is requested to adhere to all COVID 19 protocols and keep themselves safe, as CoVID 19 cases have started creeping up again.”
