1 +ve patient detected on Monday night in Guwahati went missing, police finally traced him
May 19: On Monday night, seven COVID-19 cases were detected from Guwahati. One person had unfortunately died at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) prior to detection. Three positive patients are from Sarusajai Sports Complex Quarantine Centre; & rest three related to ‘Aloo Godam’ case are from Fancy Bazaar containment zone. The information was tweeted by State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at 11 PM on 18 May, 2020. However, later in the night, an unfortunate event occurred as one of the 6 persons detected positive went missing. The minister has put the police on high alert and asked the cops to trace the person by Tuesday morning.
Out of the 6 positive cases detected late night, 5 #COVID19 patients have been evacuated and admitted to MMCH. One person is untraceable and I have put @assampolice on the job to trace him by morning.

However, later during the night, Assam Police successfully traced the person. He was later on taken to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), Guwahati.
The alert personnel of @GuwahatiPol traced Jitendra Patil, one patient out of 6 who had gone missing, and he is also being shifted to MMCH.
