1 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Wednesday, none discharged

Aug. 25: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. Hailakandi registered only 01 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. The district has altogether 17 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 671 RAT tests and 78 RT-PCR tests were done. No patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,866 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,426 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 03 persons were were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 1,514 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
