I-Day and Rishi Aurobindo’s Birth Anniversary Observed at Ballacherra Garden LP School

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৫ আগস্ট : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ‘ড. আম্বেদকর চেয়ার’-এর উদ্যোগে ও বালাছড়া বাগান এলপি স্কুলের সহযোগিতায় শনিবার পালন করা হল ৭৯তম স্বাধীনতা দিবস ও ঋষি অরবিন্দ ঘোষের জন্মবার্ষিকী। অনুষ্ঠানটি ভারত মাতা ও ঋষি অরবিন্দের প্রতিকৃতিতে পুষ্পার্ঘ্য অর্পণের মাধ্যমে শুরু হয়।

উদ্বোধনী বক্তব্য রাখেন প্রধান শিক্ষক আমিনুল হোসেন বড়ভূঁইয়া। তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে দেশপ্রেম জাগিয়ে তোলার প্রয়োজনীয়তার ওপর জোর দেন। প্রধান বক্তা ছিলেন ড. আম্বেদকর চেয়ারের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ড. মৌমিতা নাথ। তিনি জাতীয় পতাকার ত্রিবর্ণ এবং অশোক চক্রের অর্থও ব্যাখ্যা করেন। পাশাপাশি তিনি স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামে ঋষি অরবিন্দের ভূমিকা ও তাঁর পূর্ণযোগ দর্শন নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন।

এ দিন শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে মৃৎশিল্পের প্রতিযোগিতা আয়োজিত হয়। এতে ৫০ জনেরও বেশি শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করে। প্রতিযোগিতার পর একটি সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানেরও আয়োজন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা দেশাত্মবোধক গান, নৃত্য ও যোগব্যায়াম প্রদর্শন করে। জাতীয় সংগীত পরিবেশনের মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠান শেষ হয়। পুরো অনুষ্ঠানটি সঞ্চালনা করেন বিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী শিক্ষিকা বর্ণমিতা নাথ। সহকারী শিক্ষক এম কে আব্বাসি বড়লস্কর সক্রিয় সহযোগিতা প্রদান করেন। ড. আম্বেদকর চেয়ারের পক্ষ থেকে অনুষ্ঠানটি সমন্বয় করেন গবেষক বিশাল দাস।

Way2barak, August 16 : The Dr. Ambedkar Chair, Assam University, Silchar, in collaboration with Ballacherra Garden LP School, organized a programme on Saturday to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of India and the birth anniversary of Rishi Aurobindo Ghosh.

The event began with a floral tribute to the portraits of Bharat Mata and Rishi Aurobindo. Head Teacher Aminul Hussain Barbhuiya delivered the inaugural speech, stressing the need to instill patriotism among students.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Maumita Nath, Assistant Professor, Dr. Ambedkar Chair, spoke on the importance of Independence Day as a reminder of the sacrifices of freedom fighters. She also explained the meaning of the tricolour and Ashok Chakra in the national flag. Dr. Nath further highlighted the role of Rishi Aurobindo in the freedom struggle and discussed his philosophy of Integral Yoga.

An earthen craft competition was held among the LP students, with over 50 participants. The school also presented a cultural programme, featuring patriotic songs, dances, and yoga demonstrations.

The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. More than 100 students, along with their guardians, attended the programme. The event was conducted by Barnamita Nath, Assistant Teacher, with support from M. K. Abbasee Barlaskar. On behalf of Dr. Ambedkar Chair, the programme was coordinated by Bishal Das, Doctoral Fellow.
