Mobile app ‘Shishu Suraksha’ launched by CM Sonowal for child protection in Assam
শিশু সুরক্ষায় নতুন মোবাইল অ্যাপ চালু করলেন সনোয়াল

November 14: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in presence of Chairperson of Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Sunita Changkakoti, social welfare minister Pramila Rani Brahma, Assam DGP Kuladhar Saikia and chairperson of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Priyank Kanoongo launched the mobile app Shishu Suraksha of Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Guwahati on Thursday.

Speaking during the occasion on Children’s Day, Chief Minister Sonowal said, “I urge students to commit themselves to lead a disciplined life and work towards building the nation. I also appeal all school authorities to integrate sports and culture with education for overall development of the students.”

The Chief Minister also said that parents must avoid the tendency to pressurise their wards for success and instead allow them to grow naturally. Sonowal also stressed the need for the parents to become aware about social evils like drugs and said that teachers must take up the moral responsibility to imbibe cultural sensibilities in the children.

As regards the the new mobile app Shishu Suraksha, CM Sonowal said that people should be made aware of crime against children so that more people could use the app for securing the rights of children.
