Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 to storm into the FIFA World Cup final for 6th time

way2barak, Dec.13: It was indeed a resounding victory for Argentina in the semi final of FIFA World Cup 2022. Argentina defeated Croatia 3-0 in the first semi-final to reach World Cup final for the sixth time. Lionel Messi scored once and Julián Álvarez scored twice for Argentina. They will now face either France or Morocco in the FIFA World cup Final 2022 on 18 December.

Messi equalled Lothar Matthäus’ record for featuring in most men’s World Cup matches (25). Messi also became Argentina’s all-time leading goalscorer in World Cup history (11 goals).

The 2nd semi-final between France vs Morocco will be played at Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor, 12:30 AM IST on 15 December. The final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be played on Sunday (December 18) at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Lusail.
