Assam University Professor Receives National-Level ‘Women Scientist Award’
জাতীয় স্তরের ‘উইমেন সায়েন্টিস্ট অ্যাওয়ার্ড’ পেলেন আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপিকা

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ২৫ নভেম্বর : মর্যাদাপূর্ণ ‘উইমেন সায়েন্টিস্ট অ্যাওয়ার্ড’ পেলেন আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বায়োটেকনোলজি বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপিকা ড. ইয়াসমিন চৌধুরী। ইন্ডিয়ান ইমিউনোলজি সোসাইটির পক্ষ থেকে তাঁকে এই জাতীয় স্তরের সম্মান প্রদান করা হয়েছে। গত সপ্তাহে প্রয়াগরাজের এমএনএনআইটিতে আয়োজিত সোসাইটির ৫২তম বার্ষিক সম্মেলন ‘ইমিউনোকন–২০২৫’-এ অংশ নিয়ে ড. ইয়াসমিন এই সম্মান গ্রহণ করেন।

‘সার্টিফিকেট অব রিকগনিশন’ সহ এই পুরস্কারটি ইমিউনোলজি ক্ষেত্রে ড. ইয়াসমিন চৌধুরীর নিষ্ঠা, প্রতিশ্রুতি ও উন্নতমানের গবেষণার স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। তাঁর গবেষণা চিকিৎসাবিজ্ঞানের এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্ষেত্রে বৈজ্ঞানিক ধারণাকে উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে সমৃদ্ধ করেছে। প্রসঙ্গত, ইমিউনোকন সম্মেলন দেশের ইমিউনোলজি বিজ্ঞানী, গবেষক ও বিশেষজ্ঞদের অন্যতম শীর্ষ জাতীয় প্ল্যাটফর্ম হিসেবে স্বীকৃত। এই মর্যাদাপূর্ণ মঞ্চে ড. চৌধুরীর এই সম্মান প্রাপ্তি নিসন্দেহে তাঁর গবেষণার এক উজ্জ্বল মাইলফলক।

Way2barak, November 25 : Dr. Yashmin Choudhury, Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Assam University, has been honoured with the prestigious Women Scientist Award. She received this national-level recognition from the Indian Immunology Society. Dr. Yashmin accepted the award while participating in the Society’s 52nd Annual Conference, Immunocon–2025, held last week at MNNIT, Prayagraj.

Along with a Certificate of Recognition, the award has been presented to acknowledge Dr. Yashmin Choudhury’s dedication, commitment, and high-quality research in the field of immunology. Her research has significantly enriched scientific understanding in this crucial area of medical science.
