Covid vaccines to be administered at 8 centres in Silchar on 22 Nov

Nov. 21:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Sunday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 7 centres in Silchar on Monday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 1,300 doses of Covishield and 150 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 22 November in Silchar town.

The 7 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

  • SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.
  • Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.
  • Gol Dight Mall, Nazirpatty: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.
  • Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.
  • GC College: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.
  • Ramanuj Gupta Degree College: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.
  • Women’s College: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 22 November.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

  • Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 22 November.
