75 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 133 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Dec. 19: On Sunday, out of 14,115 tests, 75 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,19,492. The positivity rate in the state is 0.53 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 52 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,147. The recovery rate is 98.63 percent. Also, 133 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 982 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 119 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.
