Fire breaks out in a flat at Ambicapatty, none injured

April 29: An incident of fire was reported from a flat located in Ambicapatty locality of Silchar. As per information provided by the Fire Department, at around 12 noon on Friday, the residents of Saptarshi Enclave in Ambicapatty suddenly discovered the central electricity meter box in the building was all in flames. The electricity panel box was fixed at the entrance of the Enclave.

Immediately the residents of Saptarshi Enclave raised a hue and cry. The Fire Service Department was called to inform of the situation. Fire brigades rushed to the spot and started to douse the fire in the electric panel box. Very soon the firemen succeeded in extinguishing the flames. As per reports, there was no loss of life and none sustained any injury.
