Buying & selling activity should not be undertaken without putting face mask in Cachar: DC Jalli

Jan. 11: In view of recent increase in Covid cases in the Country, State and the district, it has become essential to strengthen our guard in the fight against this virus so that there are no losses. In this regard, all Shops (Big/ Medium/ Small) /shopping Malls/ Business Establishments/ Petrol Pumps/ G.P.S.S Shops/ Restaurants /Cafes / Bakery / Cylinder Shops/ Parlours/ Salons/ Banks & other financial institutions, etc located within Cachar District were directed not to entertain any person without mask. Any buying and selling activity should not be undertaken without putting face mask. An order to this effect was issued by Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Cachar on 11 January, 2022.

The order issued by DC Jalli further stated that checking of vaccination certificate may be undertaken. The non-vaccinated customers/ citizens may be directed to the nearest Vaccination Centre for getting vaccination keeping public health and safety in mind. This order comes into force with immediate effect.
