Lions Club of Silchar Vision organises health camp for flood victims

May 30: Lions Club of Silchar Vision organised a Health Camp as well as free distribution of medicines on Sunday among the flood – affected people at Malugram Swayambhra School under the able guidance of Dr Darshana Patoa and Dr. Debadatta Biswas and paramedical staff Rajashree Chakraborty. This was followed by distribution of rice, pulses, oil, salt, soyabean, biscuits, soap sanitizer and bottles of mineral water among the 75 beneficiaries who suffered due to flooding of their houses.

President of the Club, Lion Jayjit Das and members of the club Lion Paromita Das Choudhury, Lion Shantanu Roy, Lion Sabita Roy, Lion Sarbani Dutta Deb Choudhury, Lion Dhrubojyoti Paul Choudhury ,Panna Paul and Shyamoli Choudhury were present in the camp. Lions Club of Silchar Vision extended its gratitude to Shantanu Das for providing infrastructural support needed for the Camp.
