Lecture on scientific temperament on 29 August at Madhya Sahar Conference hall

August 28: The All India People’s Science Network (AIPSN) has decided to observe 20 August every year as the NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC TEMPER DAY (NSTD) throughout the country to fight against all forms of superstitions and blind beliefs and to spread scientific temper.

However,  due to certain exigencies the organizers are going to observe the day on 29 August instead of 20 August, 2019. In this connection, a seminar will be held on 29 August at 6 pm at Madhyasahar sanskritik samity hall. Assistant Professor Dr Urbashi Sarkar , Department of the Earth Science, Assam University, Silchar will deliver a lecture on Scientific Temper.

This was informed by Krisnendu Roy. Convenor, JSA and Supriya Bhattacharjee,VP CRU(NER) on behalf of the organizers. The organizers further requested the  people to join them in this lecture series in large numbers.
