‘Apon Ghar’ scheme extended for 1 year by Assam govt

June 21: In order to facilitate availing Housing Loan by regular state government employees, the Government of Assam has extended the ‘interest subvention scheme ‘Apon Ghar’ for one more year, that is, till 31 March 2020 with effect from 1 April, 2019.

Till date, a total of 20,287 beneficiaries have availed Re 2395.10 crore loan under the scheme. It was further stated in the said notification of 19 June, 2019 that all terms and conditions to avail this lucrative housing scheme as laid down in earlier Office Memorandums shall remain unchanged.
