BJP appeals to all its workers to provide food to needy while adhering to lockdown rules

March 23: As India fights Coronavirus, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appealed to all its workers throughout the country to stay at home, follow the rules laid down by the government, maintain cleanliness and social distancing as advised. However, the largest political party also appealed to its workers to provide food to the needy while adhering to all other specified rules.

The note of appeal from the BJP further asked its workers that during the lockdown phase, they should listen to inspirational talks, read, do Yoga or learn something new. The party, however, urged upon its members to offer themselves as volunteer(s) to local administration and assist them, if needed.

The workers of the party were further asked to educate people around them to be patient during lockdown, not to panic and adhere to rules. They were asked to appreciate the efforts of health workers, government employees, delivery boys and sanitation workers during this testing time. Finally, BJP appealed to its workers to share positive experiences, avoid negative comments, posts etc.

In order to tackle the spread of coronavirus in the state, Assam government has declared complete LOCKDOWN in the state from 6 PM of 24 March, 2020 till 31 March, 2020. If anybody is found to disobey the order, then punitive measures will be adopted.
