Youth from 1st Link Road arrested with 29 containers of suspected brown sugar

Aug. 16: Acting on a tip-off, In-charge of Rangirkhari Town Out Post & staff arrested a person, identified as Pinku Bikash Das (29 years) S/O Late Surendra Das who is a resident of 1st Link Road Lane No. 9 , Silchar. Police recovered 29 plastic containers containing 16 gm of suspected brown sugar. Further investigation into the matter is on.
