Yogi Adityanath tweets photos of him with PM Modi; A hint for probable successor?

Nov. 21: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday shared a picture of himself with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ahead of the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, these two photos do carry a special significance. This has created quite a buzz in social media platforms. Some netizens have even come up with speculations that the Prime Minister has found his successor in Yogi Adityanath.

Sharing the photos on Twitter, Adityanath also wrote a poem about the commitment of making a new India. “We have embarked on a journey with an aim and have dedicated ourselves to it. We long for sunshine, to go beyond the skies and to build a new India,” the Uttar Pradesh chief minister wrote on Twitter (roughly translated from Hindi).

The picture by Yogi Adityanath comes amid the prime minister’s two-day visit to Lucknow to attend the 56th DGP-IGP conference. Retweeting the tweet, Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh said, “Moving towards comprehensive victory.” Adityanath had gone to meet the prime minister on Sunday morning. However, it is not known what discussion took place between them.
