With 6 more Covid +ve cases, day’s total in Cachar rises to 19 on 7 Sept
Active cases 123 in Cachar; 11 discharged on Tuesday
Sept 7: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Tuesday at 10.30 PM. As per the latest data, 06 more persons were detected as Coronavirus positive during the day. With this, a total of 19 persons were found positive in the district on 7 September. Earlier, at 6 PM, it was informed that 13 persons were found positive. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has reached 123. This was informed by District Media Expert on Tuesday night. Also, 11 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that on Monday, 11 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar.
As per the updated data, a total of 3,557 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 13 persons were found positive, whereas 06 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. With this, the total number of Covid cases since 1 April, 2021 reached 19,841 whereas during this phase, 19,521 patients were discharged.
Apart from this, the district authority informed that out of the 123 active patients:
22 of them are admitted at SMCH
05 at MH
10 at SM Dev Civil Hospital
06 at Green Heals Pvt Hospital
00 at CRPF Doyapur
03 at Cachar Cancer Hospital
07 at Chotodudpatil Model Hospital
01 Palonghat Model Hospital
69 patients are in home isolation.
The Covid-19 situation in gradually is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 6 September to 5 PM on 7 September) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Tuesday evening.
Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 7 September, there were 27 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patients were put under ventilator support and 13 of them were in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 07 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 03 of them were discharged.
