Silchar- Jiribam section of NH-37 closed for heavy vehicles

June 19: It is for general information to all concerned that due to overflowing of rain water and subsequent occurrence of erosion of a road part at 37th km of NH-53 (New NH-37) (Silchar- Jiribam section) at Labankhal area, this NH-53 is closed for all types of heavy vehicle at both ends of the erosion stretch (Labankhal area at 37 km) with immediate effect until further order. This was stated in a press release issued by the Executive Engineer, PWD, NH Division, Silchar on Saturday.
