With 11 more discharged, number of recovered patients cross 500 in Assam

June 5: Another 11 patients were discharged from Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) in Barpeta on Friday. The total patients discharged on Friday stands at 50. With this, the number of recovered patients in the state has crossed 500 and has reached 509. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Glad to share that 11 more patients have been discharged today from FAAMCH after they tested negative for #COVID19 twice.” At present, there are 1637 active cases in Assam.
