1 test Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 3 discharged

Aug 15: Hailakandi registered 01 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, which was found positive during Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 34 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 252 RAT tests and 18 RT-PCR tests were done. 03 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,851 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,394 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 04 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 2,463 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
