Various activities by Daffodils School to maintain mental health of flood refugees
June 28: For the first time in Daffodils School, the flood victims took shelter on June 20. The school authorities in this camp in a slightly different way was trying to stand besides these flood victims. The teachers of the school are distributing the relief materials provided by the district administration. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the school are constantly monitoring the cleanliness in the campus.
In addition to food, drink and well-being facilities for the flood victims arriving in the camp, mental health is also being taken care of. The school authorities are paying special attention to ensure that the children and adolescents can live in a congenial environment and the academic side can also be maintained during this crucial phase.
Every day, various games, sit and draw and cultural events are being organized for them under the management of the school authorities. Prizes are being distributed to encourage them at the end of the ceremony. Many cultural events are also being organised for the adults.
