74 tests +ve in Assam on Saturday; 105 patients discharged

Dec. 26: On Saturday, out of 18,274 tests, 74 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,15,910 out of which, 3,389 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.40 percent.

On Saturday, 105 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,11,483 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 02 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1035.
