Tripura reports 102 more COVID-19 +ve cases, state count rises to 622
June 3: The number of coronavirus cases are increasing by leaps and bounds in the two Northeastern states of Assam and Tripura. On Thursday night, 102 people were detected as COVID-19 positive in Tripura. A total of 728 samples were tested, out of which 102 were found positive. Sharing this information, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet stated that, “Most of them have travel history and contact’s.” With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has gone upto 622. Earlier during the day, 49 more persons were also detected as COVID-19 positive.
