Assam University & its affiliated colleges to remain closed on 13 & 14 Jan on ‘Makar Sankranti’

Jan 11:. Assam University had already notified holiday on 14 January, 2022 on the occasion of ‘Makar Sankranti.’ Meanwhile, on 11 January, Registrar of the University issued a notification, as per which, the University along with its affiliated colleges shall also remain closed on 13 January on account of Makar Sankranti. That means, Assam University and its affiliated and permitted colleges will be able to enjoy holidays for two consecutive days, that is, on 13 January (Thursday) and 14 January (Friday), 2022.
