No COVID-19 test for air passengers travelling within Assam & between NE states

Nov. 18: In a significant announcement made by State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday, it was stated that, “Air passengers travelling within Assam and those travelling between North East States will no longer require mandatory COVID-19 testing.”

The minister further stated that “COVID-19 test for incoming flight passengers will be done at at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati Airport) itself instead of Sarusajai.”
