Another COVID-19 positive in Assam, total rises to 92

May 16: On Saturday afternoon, two positive cases of COVID-19 were reported from Guwahati. Again, in the night, one more positive case was reported from Sonitpur district. This took the total tally of the state to 92. Already 41 COVID-19 patients were discharged in the state. 2 persons succumbed to the virus. 2 cases migrated outside the state. That means at present, there are 47 active cases in Assam.

Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Dr. himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ One person from Sonitpur district has tested #COVID19 positive.”
