Sunlight makes Indian cow’s milk rich in gold, bizarre statement by Bengal BJP Chief

November 5: It’s almost a race within the BJP leaders regarding securing a place for making bizarre statements. Biplob Deb, Chief Minister of Tripura is famous for his out of the box statements. But the statement made by West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh regarding milk of cow broke all previous records.

While speaking at a public meeting at Burdwan, Dilip Ghosh said, “Milk of Indian cows contain gold that’s why its colour is yellowish.” Ghosh went a step forward in his creative science analysis and said, “The Indian cows have humps, which the foreign cows don’t have. The foreign cow has a straight back, like a buffalo. The hump has an artery, called ‘swarnanari’ (gold artery). When sunlight falls on it, gold is made.”

The comedy did not stop here. He went on with his theory a step forward and compared the Indian breed of cows with the foreign breeds. He said, “The breeds of cows that we bring from abroad are not cows. They are a kind of ‘janwar’ (beast). These foreign breeds don’t sound like cows. Those are not our gaumata (mother) but our aunties. It is not good for the country if we worship such aunties.”
