Severe cyclone damages several houses, electric lines & transformers at Katigorah

May 14: A severe cyclone at around 3.30 pm on Friday occurred at multiple places within Mahadevpur GP, Jalalpur GP, Kushiarkul GP, Leverputa GP under Katigorah Revenue Circle thereby causing severe damages to many of the houses and electrical lines and transformers. Infrastructure of Balicherra BSF BorderOut Post was also severely damaged due to the cyclone.

Tarpaulins were distributed to the family members whose houses were severely damaged by the cyclone in presence of Katigorah and Circle Officer Katigorah Revenue Circle. The detail damage assessment is under process.
